Mary was born in 1964 in Houston, Texas, and attended Dulles High School in Stafford, Texas. She graduated from The Art Institute of Houston in 1985 with a degree in Visual Communications and McNeese State University with her bachelors degree in art/painting. She has worked as an Architectural Illustrator for over 25 years. Her business, Mary Donaldson Illustration has provided Architectural Illustrations to Builders and Developers from the Greater Houston Area for over 18 years. She currently lives in Kinder, Louisiana with her husband and two children. She taught Fine Arts at Kinder High School in 2012. She is currently teaching Studio Art at Iowa Middle School. Her studio is located in Kinder, Louisiana.
